One of my favorite things to do when I was little was building forts. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone. There is something magical that happens when you set foot into one. Maybe its the secret hideout aspect or maybe it is just fun. Even though most of us have grown up, that part of us is still in there.
When I saw the first two photos the other day, I instantly went back into my youth while keeping my mind slightly on the present. Lately I have been obsessed with Teepee's (esp since you can stay in one at Coachella) so this was right up my ally. I love how simple and chic they made a teepee. I just envisioned myself sitting inside with a nice cold drink, reading, being on my laptop and just relaxing. The perfect relax hideout. For the past couple of days I've been thinking if I should make one (and if I had space). It is definitely an idea I want to carry out this summer if I can. I also love how creative people are with the patterns and textures they chose.
I found a video featuring two people (Keegan and Britt) on how they built theirs, to give an idea.
Are you guys loving this idea? If you had the space will you try putting one up?
