Erin Barr's SS13 presentation was by far my favorite. Not only was the collection stunning but the overall theme was perfect.
I've always had an obsession with the late 1950's and upon entering I felt as if I had crashed the ultimate party. Not only did the models show off the collection, they did it in an intriguing round of musical chairs. Each girl would take a scroll around the room, chat up a neighbor, decide on a record to play, and sometimes engage in a dance. The attention to detail within the atmosphere was impeccable, and ultimately made the mood.
The collection was simply amazing. The modern mod aspect was shown beautifully within each piece. The tailored and fantastic cut outs, had me lusting after the collection. My favorite was a white dress with the perfect cut outs giving it a mix of sexy and chic. Also a leather top that screamed my name, especially paired with a black maxi skirt. With a color palette that consisted of bold reds mixed often with blacks, soft greys and whites, Barr's collection has something for everyone.
