GEORGINE F/W 2015 runway show at Lincoln Center, was the third season seeing the talented designer's collection go down the runway. Besides having a stunning collection, the amount of details were on point. The music was the perfect mix of rock and funk; it made my feet tap from beginning to end. The hairstyles were fabulous and some of the most fun shown in a while. Each season since her debut, GEORGINE is consistent with having one of the must-see shows of Fashion Week.
The F/W collection was inspired by the "spirit of the Weimar Cabaret in 1920s and 1930s Berlin, mixed with the romantic yet mod sensibility of 1960s British designers like Ossie Clarke and Biba." (MAOPR). With suede, leather, cashmere and elegant embroidery, this collection is what fall dreams are made of. Are you someone who is obsessed with fur? If so you're in luck; color fur is in full effect with a mix of bold shades made to stand out in the colder months.
As I sit here thinking of a favorite, I honestly can't pick just one. From the gold metallic dresses, to the detailed embroidery, this collection has it all. Not to mention in a color palette that is just screaming must own now.
What do you think of GEORGINE F/W collection?
