NYFW: GEORGINE S/S 17 PHOTO DIARY

Georgine's Spring/Summer 2017 runway show was held at Skylight Clarkson Sq. The collection was inspired by the type of girl who shops at Bergdorf Goodman AND Trash & Vaudeville. “I think it is a more interesting concept of dressing, one where luxury goods coexist with Rock t-shirts, intricate Couture beading meets motorcycle jackets and lightweight furs are punctuated by combat boots,” remarked Ratelband. Keeping that in mind, Ratelband also drew inspiration from the way that young women always pilfer the closets of their mothers, and how they would wear more classic pieces, but with their own twist put on it. Specifically, Frances Bean Cobain and Zoe Kravitz, who have mothers with the most incredible closets, came to mind for Ratelband when designing this collection. - Mao PR I always love attending shows by Georgine. Besides amazing collections, season after season, her shows always have a fun element. This Spring/ Summer collection was no different, especially with fun short blond and black wigs accompanying the models down the runway. 


Below are a few of my favorites but its really hard to choose with such a must-have collection.
