NYFW: KATTY XIOMARA S/S 17 PHOTO DIARY

Katty Xiomara Spring/Summer 2017 runway show was held at Pier 59 Studios. The collection was inspired by the great maritime power that Portugal was in the 15th century. The "colors reflect the depths of the sea, Lace reinterprets fishing nets, and maritime motifs are reimagined in embroidery and laser cut outs. From this combination of ideas emerge a spontaneous bond between sophistication and simplicity with a sweet touch of urbanity, where nostalgia is approached with a fresh sense of modernity." - MAO PR Some of my favorites included a lace navy Peter Pan collar dress and gorgeous navy trench all perfect for Spring.
